I'm temporarily changing my hair colour to red over the christmas holiday, inspired by these lovely pre-Raphaelite ladies of course.

College starts, Summer ends
First may I just say that these lovely photos were taken by the beautiful Miss.Sporik they were taken at boardmasters, which exceeded my low expectations, I thought it would be dreadful but it turned out to be quite good fun (Bombay Bicycle Club rocked it even with technical glitches).
I've had my first few days of college which has been a rather nerve racking experience considering I'm not the biggest people person, but it's not been too bad. The only problem with college is that it means summer is over unfortunately.

Eagle vs Shark
I watched this film for the first time in ages, and just fell in love with it again. It nurtures a gentle quirky sense of humor that you can't help but fall in love with. Also it has Jemaine Clement (flight of the conchords) in it, which just increases the films awesomeness. I'd definitely recommend this film to anyone who likes Napoleon Dynamite aswell

1) I have a bit of an obsession with putting braids in my hair at the moment, so I've be walking around my house looking like Boy George. Also this cap, is growing on me, at first when my brother shifted it onto me, i almost reeled back in horror, but now I'm beginning to quite enjoy it as it were.
2) I took these earrings of my mum, and I think they'll be attached to my ears for most of the summer.
3)Lipstick is my new found joy in the beauty department, and it'll be the main focus when i do my makeup for the next couple of months.
4)I love this nail polish, its from Rimmel London and the colour is called disco ball, it just makes me so happy. You may also be wandering why there's an eye on my hand, well i just have an obsession with drawing eyes.

summer is nearly here
After tomorrow i will never have to set foot in my school again, what a glorious feeling, and the end of school means the start of summer
1)My rolex, its a completely badass 007 glow in the dark watch it shall be attached to my wrist.
2)Testing for dip dye possibility, i shall be opting for a turquoise this summer
3)This little evening bag was second hand from gran, and I'm taking on holiday with me.
4)What would summer be without a hippie pre-raphalite headband, I fashioned this out of wire and masking tape and wire.

My Weekend Summerised
1) The lovely Emily came over to mine for a milkshake and charity shopping orientated revision session, and decided that it was necessary for me to do a drawing of her, this was urgent and definitely not me procrastinating.
2)I've been constantly listening to Massive Attack this weekend.
3)I got these bad boys from my local vintage shop, i saw them and fell in love, they were almost too ridiculous to be true, and they were only £8.
4)Consequently, now I've got those boots i want to go to my school ball dressed with a bit of a kiss theme. Not Gene though i draw the line at mankinis. To be fair I could probably get a kiss outfit together more easily than find a decent ball dress, and it'd probably way more fun dressing as Ace Frehley, than dressing prettily.

Darling Clothes
I got this top from the delectible clothes company http://www.darlingclothes.com/. Even though this cost more than what I usually dish out for clothes (I do love a good bargain) it was well worth the money because their clothes do make you feel a million dollars. So check it out.
The Royal Wedding
As you all know it was the Royal wedding last week. And believe me when I tell you, that, whilst some of the guests managed to put together outfits for this occassion with effortless class and style, others found themselves themselves falling into a pit of of what can only be described as bad taste. So I took it upon my person to share with you, some of my personal highlights outfit-wise (both good and bad)
The Good:
1) My personal favourite, was Miriam Gonzalez' outfit; very remenicent of old holywood glamour. I also absoulutely love her head piece and i want one. Nick Clegg, you sir, are a very lucky gentleman
2) I can say with hand on heart that Princess Anne totally pulled this outfit off, and it's not every day that someone pulls off a green and lilac coat dress. As you can see the fit of her outfit really compliments her, and this outfit really makes her look fresh, and i hope to be able to wear clothes like that when i'm her age
3)I like the the simplicty of Lady Frederick Windsor's outfit, it doesn't scream out for attention but she still looks gorgeous.
The Bad:
1)Lets just say that i nearly choked on my sandwich when i found out the Eugenie's dress was designed by Vivienne Westwood, whenever i look at that dress now a wave of disbelief overcomes me. I also have no idea what is going on with Beatrice's hat, nude moose is all that comes to mind.
2) This outfit (worn by Tara Palma whats-her-face) just repulses me, enough said.

I was looking at the video for Fever Ray's song 'when i grow up up' and it just occured to my how cool her outfit is, I particullarly want her shoes. However I would defenfinately be concerned if there happened to be a small impish character with plastic cutlery attached to there clothes casting spells on my swimming pool. Luckily i'm not in danger of that happening because there is no way a pool could fit in my garden, for small water dwelling, plastic cutlery loving, impish characters to gather around.
Well, firstly I apologise for my flimsy attempt to update my blog regularly, however i managed to find this red velvet blazer in a vintage flea market, and by jingo it only cost me £7. I must say after buying it, i am now craving a top hat and monacle to complete the general victorian fox hunter, or ringmaster look.

Boredom at its Best
First may i apologize for the lack of post, secondly the photos above are more logical than they may seem. I saw the photos of Lady Gaga in i-D magazine, and i was bored so i decided to do makeup in an alien-like manner. Well, I'm not gonna lie, I don't look like an alien, just some fool who got a bit too carried away with sticking googly eyes on their face. So I've come to the conclusion that when it come to alien chic i should probably leave it to the professionals.

In these dark times in which revision has an icy grip on unsuspecting teenagers everyone needs a place where they can go to and forget the concept of examinations. I like to browse the local charity shops, and the one that has stood out for me recently has been Cancer research. There I found this skirt (£2) and these shoes (again £2) amongst other brilliant finds. So i suppose that this look is almost like my ode to cancer research. So if this week you go shopping you should definitely consider looking in a charity shop, is it surprising what you can find and your money is put to good use, what more could anyone ask for.
