My Weekend Summerised

1) The lovely Emily came over to mine for a milkshake and charity shopping orientated revision session, and decided that it was necessary for me to do a drawing of her, this was urgent and definitely not me procrastinating.

2)I've been constantly listening to Massive Attack this weekend.

3)I got these bad boys from my local vintage shop, i saw them and fell in love, they were almost too ridiculous to be true, and they were only £8.

4)Consequently, now I've got those boots i want to go to my school ball dressed with a bit of a kiss theme. Not Gene though i draw the line at mankinis. To be fair I could probably get a kiss outfit together more easily than find a decent ball dress, and it'd probably way more fun dressing as Ace Frehley, than dressing prettily.

Darling Clothes

I got this top from the delectible clothes company http://www.darlingclothes.com/. Even though this cost more than what I usually dish out for clothes (I do love a good bargain) it was well worth the money because their clothes do make you feel a million dollars. So check it out.

The Royal Wedding

As you all know it was the Royal wedding last week. And believe me when I tell you, that, whilst some of the guests managed to put together outfits for this occassion with effortless class and style, others found themselves themselves falling into a pit of of what can only be described as bad taste. So I took it upon my person to share with you, some of my personal highlights outfit-wise (both good and bad)

The Good:

1) My personal favourite, was Miriam Gonzalez' outfit; very remenicent of old holywood glamour. I also absoulutely love her head piece and i want one. Nick Clegg, you sir, are a very lucky gentleman

2) I can say with hand on heart that Princess Anne totally pulled this outfit off, and it's not every day that someone pulls off a green and lilac coat dress. As you can see the fit of her outfit really compliments her, and this outfit really makes her look fresh, and i hope to be able to wear clothes like that when i'm her age

3)I like the the simplicty of Lady Frederick Windsor's outfit, it doesn't scream out for attention but she still looks gorgeous.

The Bad:

1)Lets just say that i nearly choked on my sandwich when i found out the Eugenie's dress was designed by Vivienne Westwood, whenever i look at that dress now a wave of disbelief overcomes me. I also have no idea what is going on with Beatrice's hat, nude moose is all that comes to mind.

2) This outfit (worn by Tara Palma whats-her-face) just repulses me, enough said.

I was looking at the video for Fever Ray's song 'when i grow up up' and it just occured to my how cool her outfit is, I particullarly want her shoes. However I would defenfinately be concerned if there happened to be a small impish character with plastic cutlery attached to there clothes casting spells on my swimming pool. Luckily i'm not in danger of that happening because there is no way a pool could fit in my garden, for small water dwelling, plastic cutlery loving, impish characters to gather around.

Well, firstly I apologise for my flimsy attempt to update my blog regularly, however i managed to find this red velvet blazer in a vintage flea market, and by jingo it only cost me £7. I must say after buying it, i am now craving a top hat and monacle to complete the general victorian fox hunter, or ringmaster look.
